ADVENT 2010

This blog was intended as a space in which to explore the darkness of the Advent that followed the September 2008 death of our 24-year-old son and brother. A year later, I added a bit but, although life had become more manageable, it had not become more comprehensible. This year, 2010, you might notice the new background: stars in the sky. This year I have a better sense of the darkness, of Who is there and of what is possible there. Here.

Psalm 139:11-12

If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light around me become night,” even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is as bright as the day, for darkness is as light to you.
